The Four Pepper Blend : Consisting of black pepper, white pepper, green peppercorn and pink pepper. They are berries of true vegetable substance, free from artificial coloring The black peppers, white peppers and green peppercorns are berries of the same tropical vine Piper Nigrum picked at different stages of maturity, as they ripen they turn from green to yellow to red, no chemicals or special treatments have been applied. The pink peppercorns are berries from the Schinus Molle plant, these berries are sold as pink peppercorns and a romantic rather than pungent.
Can I use spices with a ceramic grinder?
We recommend that you use a grinder only for dry spices such as rosemary, crushed bay leaves and caraway. For spices with leaves like parsly or basil, the humidity in the leaves (even if dried) can eventually jam the grinder.
Can I use flax seeds with a ceramic grinder?
Yes.
Is it possible to adjust my grinder?
Yes. First turn the mill-top one-quarter-turn counter clockwise to clean the grinder. Then, turn the knob clockwise for a finer grind and counter clockwise for a coarse grind.
What kind of batteries do I need for my battery mill?
It depends. We have models using AA and other models using AAA batteries. It is indicated on the battery pack of the battery mill or on the packaging. Make sure to follow the proper polarity when positioning the batteries. We always recommend using fresh new batteries. If you have not used your peppermill for a period of 1 year, we suggest changing the batteries.
What is the warranty on peppermills?
Lifetime warranty with the exception of the One-Hand mills with 5 years and battery mills with 1 year warranty.
What is the warranty on the battery mills?
One year.
Can I replace my grinding mill with a more powerful one if I pay the difference?
No.
How do I take my peppermill apart to clean it?
